Durability is another area of difference between wood and steel cabinets. Steel cabinets are very durable. And once you buy them, you can use them for several years without thinking of changing them. They are strong and can store large and heavy folders without damage. 

However, wood cabinets aren’t as strong and durable as their metal alternative. You can only use them to store a simple paper document.
